When a piece leaves our studio, we don't see it as merely another product...it is a personalized work of art. With this in mind, we of course could only use high quality canvas material to put your masterpiece on. Unlike the material other companies use, our canvas is an extremely durable, material that lays and hangs beautifully.
Installation of Products
- Keep your product in it's original packing, rolled up on the cardboard core until the wedding date. Keep at room temperature and in a dry space.
- We recommend that your runner, banner or flag is laid out flat down your wedding aisle at least 2 hours prior to your ceremony. This will allow time for your product to adjust to the temperature in the room and relax completely.
- If possible, rope off the center aisle so that your guest do not walk on your runner.
- To spot clean your product, simple take a slightly damp cloth to gentlely wipe off any smudges or dirt.
- Our products are not for extended use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will high heels snag or poke a hole in the aisle runner?
A: If the aisle runner is laid down as directed, there should be no problem snagging or tearing.
Q: Can I put my aisle runner on any surface?
A: Most surfaces will be fine. Example surfaces are:
- short carpet
- hardwood
- tile
- brick
- stone
- short grass
If you are concerned about your runner moving, we recommend getting a no-slip pad. If time permits, it is a good idea to take your runner to your ceremony site and test it on the surface location to see if a pad is needed.
Q: Can I put my aisle runner on stairs?
A: We DO NOT recommend putting any type of runner on stairs/steps.
Q: How long before my wedding should I order an aisle runner, banner, or flag?
A: Orders must be placed at least 8 weeks prior to your event. More time is greatly appreciated. Rush orders are available upon request, but will incur a rush charge. Please call us before rush order is placed.
Q: I didn't see the exact color of my wedding in your selection. How can I get my order to match my colors?
A: That's easy! Simply mail us a swatch of fabric from one of your bridesmaids dresses or go to "Benjamin Moore Paintstore" and pick out the exact color you need (call or email it to us).
Q: What can I do with my aisle runner, banner, and flag after my wedding?
A: Here are a few suggestions:
- Create a family heirloom! Save your runner so that your children can use it in their wedding years from now and add their monogram/wedding date.
- Cut off the end with your design and have a seamstress hem the end. You can then hang it over your couch or bed in your new home!
- Again, cut off the end with your design, and take it to a frame shop and have them cut out holes in specific spots, add photos from your wedding in those holes and then have them frame it for you.
- You can use any of these ideas for your product!
